Premiere: Jason Lytle Foretells the End on 'Your Final Setting Sun'
Song is from Grandaddy singer's forthcoming solo album

Grandaddy frontman Jason Lytle is gearing up for the October 16th release of Dept. of Disappearance, his first solo record since 2009's Yours Truly, the Commuter. Now you can check out the video for album cut "Your Final Setting Sun," which Lytle describes as "a kind of fast-paced Western synth rock song." The clip follows the exploits of a peculiar techno-phobic cult with a manipulative leader who literally makes his follows do their messiah's dirty work (hint: it involves a plunger). "I entrusted skateboarder/artist/filmer Mike Aho to create a nice video for it," Lytle says. "What he created on the shoestring budget he had to work with is pretty friggin' great!"
