Premiere: DIIV Thunders Through 'Doused'
Singer tinkers with military miniatures before realizing he's late
September 6, 2012 3:20 PM
It's not often that someone finds himself so engrossed in toy soldiers that they forget they're expected on stage, but that's the situation for DIIV frontman Zachary Cole Smith in the new clip for "Doused," a racing, pummeling cut from the band's Captured Tracks debut, Oshin. Co-directed by Smith and Ian Perlman, the DIIV frontman bolts down the street to join the rest of the group, already in the midst of a riotous performance. Don't have to just watch the video, though: you can check out DIIV's upcoming U.S. tour dates here.
