Pixies Unleash New Songs on 'Fallon'
Rockers play 'Bagboy' and 'Indie Cindy' on TV for the first time

Black Francis looked beatific onstage yesterday on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, where the Pixies showcased new song "Bagboy" on TV for the first time. Francis looked positively serene as he talk-sang oddball lyrics over a foreboding blend of guitar, bass and drums, before rocking out on the chorus while new touring bassist Kim Shattuck sang the refrain. The band stuck around for a web-exclusive performance of another new song, the moodier "Indie Cindy."

Where Does the Pixies' 'Doolittle' Rank on Our Greatest Albums List?

The tunes are among five newly released Pixies songs: the group posted "Bagboy" online in June, and followed it earlier this month with the four-track release EP-1. The Pixies also performed last weekend at Riot Fest in Chicago as part of a lineup that also included the Replacements and Blink-182.
