Pistol Annies' Ashley Monroe Adores 'Weed Instead of Roses' - Premiere
Country crooner duets with Train frontman Pat Monahan

Up-and-coming country crooner Ashley Monroe is having a busy year. Pistol Annies, the trio she plays in with Miranda Lambert and Angaleena Presley, released their new LP, Annie Up, this past spring. A few months before that, Monroe put out her second solo effort, Like a Rose (which you can purchase on iTunes now). Now you can take an exclusive look at this acoustic rendition of one album highlight, the cheeky "Weed Instead of Roses," performed in New York as a duet with Train frontman Pat Monahan.

"It's always a fun song to sing," Monroe tells Rolling Stone. "Having Train play it and Pat sing with me was really special. Especially when Pat sang, 'I'm trading in these boxers for some sexy underwear.'"
