Respond to Detroit controversy

When Nickelback was announced as the band for the halftime show of the Detroit Lions' Thanksgiving Day game earlier this month, many of the team's fans were outraged; one detractor created an online petition to have the Canadian rockers replaced with a local act. In this Funny or Die video, the band respond to the ridiculousness of the controversy by getting silly in a sketch featuring The League and Human Giant comedian Paul Scheer. So why are Nickelback so hated? Well, we can rule out the goat-fucking rumors. "We make love to goats," clarifies frontman Chad Kroeger.
