Mr. Dream Creepy, seedy clip for 'Croquet'

New video from Brooklyn trio's debut 'Trash Hit'

Urban mischief abounds in "Croquet," the latest video from Brooklyn punk trio Mr. Dream's debut album Trash Hit. The Alex Markman-directed clip has a creepy, seedy quality well-suited to the abrasive, anxious tone of the song, which has a heavy yet tuneful quality similar to classic tunes by Nirvana, the Pixies and Shellac. There's a particularly unsettling in the middle lifted from Jerzy Kosinki's 1968 novel Steps in which a group of men play a disturbing, weirdly sexual game in a dank back room.
