In this clip from last night's season finale of The Voice, runner-up Dia Frampton sang Miranda Lambert's smash hit "The House That Built Me" with the country star. It's a fantastically understated performance, especially for a major singing competition. Frampton focuses her attention on subtle phrasing, revealing vocal chops much more impressive than simply being able to belt out a tune or hit high notes. She may not have won the show, but last night she certainly showed America that she has what it takes to make it in music either way.
