During their set at Colombia's Festival Estereo Picnic last Friday, MGMT unveiled a new song called "Alien Days" that quickly found its way onto YouTube.

The band is currently working on the follow-up to 2010's Congratulations, and according to NME, Andrew VanWyngarden recently told Intercourse Magazine that he has written five songs for the album. It's not clear yet whether "Alien Days" will make the official cut. The band has been recording their third LP with producer Dave Fridmann at Tarbox Road Studios in Florida.
