Made in America Fest Documentary Headed to Showtime
Film about Jay Z's Philadelphia festival will run on October 11th

With the second year of the Jay Z-curated Budweiser Made in America festival set to take place this weekend on Philadelphia's Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Showtime announced it will show a new documentary about the festival on October 11th. The first trailer for the film, directed by Ron Howard, chronicles last year's inaugural incarnation and features brief interviews with Jay, Janelle Monae, Rita Ora, a rather cantankerous Parkway neighbor and Darryl McDaniels and Joseph Simmons of Run-D.M.C., who reunited for the festival.

Also, if you've ever wanted to watch Skrillex teach Ron Howard how to drop a fat bass wub, now's your chance. Made in America will also include interviews and performances from Pearl Jam, Kanye West, Passion Pit, Jill Scott and more; before airing on Showtime the documentary will debut at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7th.
