Playing in Sydney, Australia, last night, Lana Del Rey took on Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box," offering a delicate cover of the cathartic track. Though Kurt Cobain sang the original as a tortured love song, Del Rey takes a more indirect route. Singing over swooning strings and wandering back and forth behind a bushy hedge on stage, Del Rey graced the verses with an airy delivery before daintily belting the mighty chorus without Cobain's guttural growl.
Lana Del Rey recently signed on to be the new face of H&M. Earlier this week, Boy George released a video for his cover of Del Rey's "Video Games."
