Kanye West
Finally releases 'Monster' video

Kanye West has finally released the music video for "Monster," the epic centerpiece of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy featuring Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and Bon Iver. The clip originally leaked in an unfinished form just after Christmas, but came under fire for its disturbing imagery, such as eroticized shots of dismembered women. West was clearly rattled by this criticism, and so the finished video arrives with a rather pompous disclaimer: "The following content is in no way to be interpreted as misogynistic or negative towards any groups of people. It is an art piece and it shall be taken as such."
