John Legend Offers 'All of Me' on 'Letterman'
Singer performs intimate song from upcoming album

John Legend soothed viewers last night on the Late Show With David Letterman with a performance of "All of Me" off upcoming album Love in the Future. Legend played the intimate song entirely solo and sang the plea for love despite complicating factors while playing the piano. "My head's under water, but I'm breathing fine / You're crazy and I'm out of my mind," he sang. The song is simple, a modest proposal set against delicate keys; sometimes a proclamation of love doesn't need to be a grand gesture.
