Jimmy Fallon has impersonated a lot of major rock stars on his show, but last night was the first time he merged two pop culture figures into one. In this clip, Fallon does football gear and face paint to portray "Tebowie," a mash-up of rock icon David Bowie and Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow. "This is Jesus Christ to Tim Tebow, please leave me alone," Fallon sings, parodying both Bowie's classic "Space Oddity" and Tebow's intense and very public passion for Christianity.
