Jay Leno, Jimmy Fallon Address 'Tonight Show' Rumors With Duet
Hosts poke fun at controversy with version of 'Tonight' from 'West Side Story'

There's been a lot of talk about Late Night host Jimmy Fallon taking over the Tonight Show from Jay Leno, and moving the program back to New York City in the process – but there hasn't been a whole lot of singing about it.

Report: 'Tonight Show' Moving Back to New York With Jimmy Fallon as Host

Leno and Fallon fixed that last night, cutting through the rumors with a long-distance duet on a revised version of "Tonight" from West Side Story, which had the hosts trading impassioned odes about the unwritten future of the late-night institution. Fallon plays it a bit coy as he ponders the possible switch, while Leno makes sure NBC knows he's still Number One in the ratings and he could just as easily jump ship to Fox or CBS. But the two can certainly come together in harmony about one thing: "Tonight, tonight, who cares who hosts Tonight? People just watch online the next day!"
