James Brown's estate has teamed with Shout! Factory to launch a website and YouTube page for the late R&B singer, marking the 45th anniversary of the concert he performed in Boston after the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Brown played the old Boston Garden on April 5th, 1968, the day after King was shot and killed in Memphis. As featured in RollingStone.com editor James Sullivan's book The Hardest Working Man, the show is credited with helping to hold the city together and prevent rioting in response to the killing, and Brown tore into a powerful set that's still deeply revered.
