In a year in which he alternated between male and female backing bands on tour based on his mood, Jack White opted for the ladies last night on Conan, where he rolled through "I'm Shakin'" with combustible power. He barked out the lyrics on the old Little Willie John tune with twitchy energy, pausing only to peel off a crackling guitar solo while the band held it down with rattling drums, deep bass and vivid backing vocals.
