J. Cole Flashes 'Crooked Smile' on 'Conan'
Rapper offers self-esteem tips on song from 'Born Sinner'

J. Cole waxed philosophical on the arbitrary nature of physical beauty last night on Conan, where the rapper performed "Crooked Smile" from his new album Born Sinner. Flanked by a band and two backup singers, Cole assessed his own grill and expressed sympathy to women for societal standards of beauty that can prompt insecurity. "Never let 'em see you frown / And if you need a friend to pick you up, I'll be around," he rapped. Who says chivalry is dead?
