Iron and Wine Sow Unease with 'Low Light Buddy of Mine' on 'Conan'
Ominous song comes from latest LP 'Ghost on Ghost'

Sam Beam painted an ominous picture when he led Iron and Wine through "Low Light Buddy of Mine" last night on Conan. Singing in his whispery voice, the bearded singer delivered lyrics shot through with a thread of unease while an expanded version of the band added horns, strings and backing vocals behind him. The song comes from Iron and Wine's latest album, Ghost on Ghost.
