Heartache Turns to Holiday Miracle in Neil Halstead's 'Digging Shelters' – Premiere
Illustrator Scott Marvel directed the singer's new video

The new video for Neil Halstead's track "Digging Shelters" doubles as the fourth in director and illustrator Scott Marvel's "Bean" film series. The video follows an animated couple as they leave for a snowy drive to Mom's house when the woman suddenly goes into labor and must undergo a c-section. It's heartwrenching one moment, and thankfully heartwarming the next.

Random Notes: Hottest Rock Pictures

"I had the story of this video in my head for a while and was waiting for the right song to accompany it," Marvel said. He added: "In my head that opening track, 'Digging Shelters,' started accompanying the images I had for my next 'Bean' video. The hushed tones created a warmth and longing. The vocals, the sound of the vocals, had an intimacy to them. I didn't dissect the lyrics, I just took the song in emotionally."
