The new documentary Beware of Mr. Baker tracks drummer Ginger Baker's soaring highs and debilitating lows, both onstage and off. However, throughout his turbulent life and career, one thing has remained undeniable: the greatness of his drumming.
"Before Ginger, rhythm was [simplistic]. Then Ginger comes along," drummer Stewart Copeland of the Police muses in this clip, which also includes footage of a vintage Cream performance of "Sunshine of Your Love." As the segment proves, Baker may live a complicated life, but he's a one-of-a-kind talent.
Beware of Mr. Baker will be released on January 25th by SnagFilms.
