Fun. Deliver High-Energy 'Some Nights' on 'SNL'

NYC trio brings on the feel-good anthems

New York City indie-pop trio Fun. hit the Studio 8H stage last night to make a joyful noise with the title track to their album Some Nights in an episode hosted by comedian Louis C.K. Dressed to weather another storm in a tan trenchcoat, lead singer Nate Ruess delivered high-energy vocals, belting out the a cappella opening before the rising chorus from his bandmates kicked in. For their second set, fun. took the pace down just a notch with the stirring anthem of resilience, "Carry On."
