FIDLAR Talk Cheap Beer and Their First Show
Rockers recount disastrous first gig

Los Angeles thrash-and-bash quartet FIDLAR sat down in the Rolling Stone Rock Room at Lollapalooza to chat about the important things: cheap beer and their first show. In fact, the surf-loving bros have already espoused their love for reasonably priced swill; it inspired their first song, the appropriately titled "Cheap Beer."

FIDLAR also recounted their first show. "We were on this grass area at this skate park," said drummer Max Kuehn. "We were set up, all stoked, drinking our Four Lokos – and the sprinklers went off." Added guitarist/singer Zac Carper, "It was pretty funny. We had to move it pretty quick. But now we're playing Lollapalooza. Look at that, guys!"
