Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros Soar on 'Letterman'
Band plays 'Life Is Hard' from their latest album

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros took over the Late Show With David Letterman last night with a performance of "Life Is Hard" off the band's new album, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, which came out Tuesday. Jade Castrinos' voice soared as she sang "Life is sunny, life is cool / Life is even easy too / Come celebrate / Life is hard!” The 10-member band entranced the audience as Sharpe commanded the stage in a white blazer, looking like the ringleader of the circus of violins, pianos and horns.
