Divine Fits – featuring Britt Daniel of Spoon, Dan Boeckner of Wolf Parade and the Handsome Furs, and Sam Brown of the New Bomb Turks – made their first live appearance last night in Austin, Texas, reports Ultra8201. Though the group was set to debut on stage tonight at Beerland, the Divine Fits played at the Continental Club under the name the Hot Skull. The band's 12-song set included songs from their forthcoming debut, A Thing Called the Divine Fits, and a cover of Tom Petty's "You Got Lucky."
A Thing Called the Divine Fits is due August 28th on Merge Records.
