Dirty Projectors are about to release their next album, Swing Lo Magellan, on July 10th, and the Brooklyn indie rockers swung by Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night to play "Gun Has No Trigger," a new cut off the album. With long-haired singer Dave Longstreth at the helm, the band layers some slinking, soulful vocals with a funky, easy-going beat. The track is instrumentally sparse, but Longstreth's powerful vocals carry it through a steadily building tension.
