Country Newcomer Thomas Rhett: New Album Behind the Scenes
Title track 'It Goes Like This' a Number One smash

Rising country star Thomas Rhett – the man responsible for the Number One smash "It Goes Like This" – takes us behind the scenes for the making of the album of the same name in this video exclusive. The clip collects snippets of Rhett cutting vocals, collaborating with his bandmates, working with a chorus of partiers and listening to the playback of new numbers from his debut album, It Goes Like This, which was just released on October 29th.

"This record really became a timeline of my life – the evolution of me as a writer, a singer, a performer," the 23-year old hitmaker tells Rolling Stone. "Mainly in making this album, I just wanted to put a smile on people's faces."

Rhett, who has sold over one million downloads of his latest single, first broke into the music business with a co-writing credit on Jason Aldean’s 2010 album, My Kinda Party, which led to a record deal the following year. In 2012, Rhett (who is the son of singer-songwriter Rhett Atkins) released two Top 30 hits, "Something to Do With My Hands" and "Beer with Jesus." In the lead-up to his first album, Rhett continued to work with Aldean, co-writing 2013’s "1994," plus hits for Lee Brice ("Parking Lot Party") and Florida Georgia Line ("Round Here").
