At an Obama fundraiser last night at the Masonic Auditorium in San Francisco, Chris Cornell paid tribute to the late Whitney Houston with a surprisingly affecting, solo acoustic version of "I Will Always Love You." It was a moment from one powerful voice to another, however (very) different.
