Now that Bruce Springsteen has ended his Wrecking Ball tour, he's saying thanks to his fans with a song: the rocker posted a grateful letter to supporters on his website, along with an uplifting cover of "Dream Baby Dream" by punk pioneers Suicide that scores an emotional video of Springsteen fans.
"To all the tramps and travelers who exposed themselves night after night to the long flights, the long drives, the long queuing, the rain, the sleeplessness in order to fuel us from band center, we appreciate it," Springsteen wrote. "To all of you who were there along the way, we send out our mightiest and most heartfelt thanks. You have reignited in us a great passion for what we do. We'll do our best to honor it."
Springsteen's next show will be November 6th at New York's Theater at Madison Square Garden as part of the Stand Up for Heroes Benefit. He'll head over to Australia and New Zealand for a tour starting next February. Full dates are available on Springsteen's website.
