Backstage at The Tonight Show, country star Blake Shelton told Rolling Stone about his experience as a judge on the first season of the new hit singing competition The Voice. As it turns out, Shelton was initially unsure about whether he wanted to be a part of the show, but knew he had to do it when he found out that Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green were on board. "I'm fighting to get played on the radio and I was being standoffish about being on this show," Shelton says. "I get sick at when I think what if I had passed on this and moved on and they hadn't waited on me."
Rolling Stone has interviewed all of the judges from The Voice about the show's sensational first season. Stay tuned for more.
