Beyoncé offered the first taste of her new song "Standing on the Sun" in April as a 90-second snippet during an ad for her H&M campaign. On Friday night, fans got to hear the song in full as the singer performed it live for the first time on the Antwerp, Belgium stop of the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.
"We're gonna do something just for y'all," she told the crowd, before launching into the song. "Standing on the Sun" is one of a small handful of new bits of Beyoncé material that have surfaced this year, along with "Grown Woman" from her Pepsi ad and the self-released "Bow Down/I Been On." The pop queen has a new album in the works, but there's no official word yet on whether these tracks will be included.
Beyoncé will be performing tonight at the Chime for Change benefit concert in London.
