Slide guitar and harmonica – it's a classic blues combination that remains vibrant and alive in the hands of Ben Harper and Charlie Musselwhite, who proved it last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The band laid down a stomping 12-bar blues on "I'm In, I'm Out and I'm Gone," which Harper augmented with little flashes of fire on guitar while Musselwhite smiled beatifically in between raucous bursts of mouth harp. They stuck around afterward to perform a second tune, "You Found Another Lover (I Lost Another Friend)." Both songs come from their recent album together Get Up!
