Beady Eye 'The Roller' on 'Letterman'

New band led by Liam Gallagher perform Lennon-esque new single

Beady Eye, the new band led by former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, made their American television debut on Late Show with David Letterman with a performance of "The Roller," a tune from their new album Different Gear, Still Speeding. It's a charming song, but even outside of Oasis, Gallagher can't seem to get over his Beatles fixation. The piano chords are so similar to John Lennon's solo hit "Instant Karma" that it seems that at any moment the singer could break out into a round of "and we all sheeee-iiiiiine on!"
