Members of the Arcade Fire gave a lecture at the University of Texas at Austin yesterday titled "Hope, Haiti and Service," in which they talked to students about their ongoing volunteer work and philanthropic efforts in Haiti. After the talk, they rewarded the audience with stripped-down acoustic versions of their songs "Haiti" – very appropriate! – and "Wake Up."
