In the new video for Andrew Bird's gentle track "Give It Away," a mom and dad host a birthday party for their son and his friends, with some peculiar entertainment. A piñata man performs and goofs around for the children, producing candy from various parts of his body, much to their delight. After the whimsical stage show, the birthday boy is forced to do what everyone does with piñatas – break it. But instead of acting greedily, the children display their genuine warmth and kindness, showing surprising sympathy for their new friend.
