Hear RL Grime and Big Sean Turn up on 'Kingpin'

"I've grown up a fan of Sean's, so it's real exciting to be working with him," the DJ tells Rolling Stone

RL Grime came to fame with his rave remix of Kanye West's "Mercy," helped bring hip-hop drums into EDM and has seen his "Trap on Acid" beat end up on Pitbull's Global Warming LP, but the Los Angeles DJ-producer has surprisingly few direct collaborations with rappers. His new album Void, out November 17th on Wedidit, will begin to change that, and its fourth track features major contributions from a scatterbrained Big Sean.

"I've grown up a fan of Sean's, so it's real exciting to be working with him," Grime, who also goes by Clockwork, tells Rolling Stone. With Grime looping a vocal sample behind deep bass and a hollow, slow-mo synth line, the rapper adds a big chorus and a few bars that reference both his own part on Drake's "All Me" and Drake's hook on "We Made It."

The song can be streamed below, and once officially released, it will appear not only on Void (which can be pre-ordered here) but also throughout Grime's winter tour, which has been extended to the end of February. See the new dates underneath the track.
