Randy Travis knew to add "Volume 1" to the tile of his Influence: The Man I Am album last year, as narrowing down the song choices for just one collection of the songs that made the most musical impact on him as an artist was impossible.

"We had such a great time putting together Influence Vol. 1, but there were still so many musical heroes of yesteryear that I learned from and wanted to honor," Travis recalls. "We had no choice but to release a second volume. The influence that the older, great ones had on me, and the influence that I may, somehow, have on the ones that come along after me, is God's way of allowing us to pay it forward."

For Volume 1, the seven-time Grammy winner put his stamp on songs by artists ranging from Merle Haggard and George Jones to Louis Armstrong and Bing Crosby. This time around, it's all classic country, with Travis covering songs by the likes of Ernest Tubb, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Waylon Jennings and Vern Gosdin, among others.

Rolling Stone Country has the exclusive stream of Influence: The Man I Am, Volume 2, which will hit stores August 18th. Listen to all 13 tracks below, and pre-order the album here.
