The allure of easy money has led many long feuding acts (the Police, Simon and Garfunkel) to put aside years of mutual animosity and focus on their mutual love of making bank. Some groups have stubbornly refused  (Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, we're looking at you) and have remained broken up.

Here's a video gallery of the final performances by 10 dormant bands. Some have been apart only for a matter of weeks (R.E.M.), while others have been out of the limelight for some time (Creedence Clearwater Revival). We didn't include bands that can't feasibly reunite (the Beatles, the Clash, the Ramones), although we'd pay good money to see them.
