In some ways, "Some Nights" is an even more important song for Fun. than their breakthrough hit, "We Are Young." Any band can have a fluke hit. Rick Dees had a hit. It didn't make him a career artist. But as soon as "Some Nights" started blowing up on the radio it became clear that Fun. were a serious talent.
