Elvis Presley must have really liked — and trusted — Alfred Wertheimer. The late music icon allowed Wertheimer, a renowned photographer, to capture him in very intimate moments over the course of two years, resulting in a collection of rare pictures that show the many sides of Presley. Those moments are now immortalized in the 400-page book Alfred Wertheimer: Elvis and the Birth of Rock and Roll, with some of the most captivating also in a special collection at Rock Paper Photo. Rolling Stone Country has a few from the exhibit that have never been seen before, including some from a romantic date and several that show the true heart of the King of Rock & Roll.
