'... Baby One More Time' Tops the Charts (1999)

In January 1999, Spears released the video for "... Baby One More Time" and her album of the same name. She appeared on her first Rolling Stone cover that April, and won several Billboard and American Music Awards. She attended her first MTV Video Music Awards at New York's Lincoln Center on September 9, 1999. By the end of the year, her debut album had sold 10 million copies.
