Best of Rock 2011: Picks From Taylor Swift, Bon Iver, Wiz Khalifa and More

My favorite band right now is Those Darlins, who have a really cool garage-country vibe. They're a four piece — a male drummer and three girls from Tennessee who drink a lot of whiskey and wear vintage fur. There's a song on their first record called "Red Light Love." It's sounds like old-school rockabilly ­— but not in the geeky rockabilly kind of way. Being a girl in a band, you're constantly getting compared to other bands with girls in them. But you can really compare this band to other girl bands. They're doing something totally out-of-the-box.
