Wilco have canceled eight tour dates to allow frontman Jeff Tweedy to continue receiving treatment for an addiction to painkillers. Tweedy entered a Chicago rehab facility two weeks ago.
The canceled dates span from an April 21st show at the Blue Note in Columbia, Missouri, through the May 1st Coachella festival in California. Full refunds are available for all dates except Coachella.
Wilco's next scheduled performance is a May 28th gig in Barcelona, Spain, which will be followed with several U.S. dates, including Bonnaroo on June 11th in Manchester, Tennessee.
A Ghost Is Born, the band's fifth album, is due June 22nd.
