Last week, we asked Rolling Stone readers to name their least favorite cover song of all time – and we compiled the votes into a top 10 list.

This week we crunched the numbers to determine the current King of Hip-hop. Now it's your turn to decide: Who is your King of Hip-hop? Unlike our list, which was based on data from the past two years, you can feel free to vote for any rapper from any era you like. (You can vote for female rappers, too – after all, we had Nicki Minaj in the mix for the Kings feature.)

You can vote here in the comments, on facebook.com/rollingstone or on Twitter with the #weekendrock hashtag. Voting will close at noon on Monday.

“Help Me”

Joni Mitchell | 1974

Joni Mitchell wrote and recorded this song for her album Court and Spark, but she had to switch from her regular band to make the song sound exactly the way she wanted. "I had attempted to play my music with rock & roll players," she told Rolling Stone. "They’d laugh, 'Awww, isn't that cute? She's trying to teach us how to play.'" Mitchell switched to a jazz band, Tom Scott’s L.A. Express, and scored the biggest hit of her career in the process.
