If someone asks you decades from now to think back to the music of 2012, it might initially be tough. "2012 . . . 2012 . . . Was that the year of 'Rolling in the Deep?'" you might ask. "No . . . 'Born This Way?'" Then the Internet chip in your brain will turn on the video for "Gangnam Style," and suddenly 2012 will come flying back. Watch Carly Rae Jepsen singing "Call Me Maybe" with Jimmy Fallon and the Roots and it'll come in even clearer. It was the year of big, big songs that we just couldn't seem to get out of our heads.
What's your single favorite song from 2012? Obviously, you don't have to vote for a mega-hit like "Call Me Maybe." Everyone from Ke$ha to Bob Dylan to Jack White to Taylor Swift released great songs this year. Vote for whatever you want, but please just vote once and only for a single song.
