Yoko Ono made a surprise appearance during the five-hour send-off to revered New York City record store Other Music Wednesday night, which officially closed on Saturday, June 25th.

The farewell show was hosted by comedian-actress Janeane Garofalo and started at Other Music's downtown location before making its way to Bowery Ballroom. "Other Music Forever" included performances from 11 artists, including Sharon Van Etten, Yo La Tengo, Bill Callahan, OM, Julianna Barwick and Frankie Cosmos.

Ono performed two songs while seated around Yo La Tengo. "Will I miss the city lights?" She sang. "Will I miss touch?" Watch fan-shot footage below of Ono and Van Etten singing a heartbreaking cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hey That’s No Way To Say Goodbye" and Callahan performing his haunting acoustic signature, "Cold-Blooded Old Times."
