An enthusiastic Rae Sremmurd brought their smash hit song "Black Beatles" to The Ellen Degeneres Show. "Unleash your inner rock star," Swae Lee declared, cueing his band to launch into a hip-hop-meets-New-Order rendition of the smash single.
While Lee rapped onstage, near the band, his brother Slim Jxmmi was everywhere. He started the performance in the crowd, plugging his Instagram account and the Mannequin Challenge, a social media craze that helped propel "Black Beatles" to No. One. Jxmmi rapped nonchalantly in the guest chair and even after the song ended, he appears to be filming cell phone videos of him and DeGeneres offstage.
"Black Beatles" has spent 17 weeks on the Hot 100. After rising to the top of the chart, it was displaced by another meme-aided hit, Migos and Lil Uzi Vert's "Bad and Boujee." "Black Beatles" is still holding strong at Number. Two.
