Watch R.E.M.'s "Drive" Live From Dublin's Olympia Theatre

R.E.M.'s double album Live at the Olympia isn't due until October 27th, but Michael Stipe and Co. are giving fans an early taste with their second video shot during the Dublin "working rehearsals." As Rolling Stone reported, French filmmakers Vincent and Jeremiah Moon captured the band's 2007 shows at the Olympia Theatre, and their backstage and concert footage will be included in deluxe editions of Olympia. The latest video to hit the 'Net is for Automatic for the People opener "Drive," which also kicks off the second Olympia disc. While watching a Budweiser commercial during the Super Bowl, Sir Mix-a-Lot thought the skinny female models in the ad didn’t represent reality. So he wrote this ode to ample bottoms, featuring its famous to-the-point lyric: “I like big butts and I cannot lie.” MTV banished the video, featuring shaking booties and sexually suggestive fruit, to 9 p.m. or later. “I thought my career was over,” he told Rolling Stone. “Then I called Rick Rubin, and I told him the video was banned, and he was like, 'Great!' We sold another 2 million records.”
