Watch Panic! At the Disco's Tranquil Cover of the Weeknd's 'Starboy'

Brendon Urie sings with chilling falsetto during BBC Live Lounge performance

Panic! At the Disco turned in a simmering and sultry cover of the Weeknd's "Starboy" on BBC Live Lounge.

Panic! At the Disco gave a scintillating cover of the Weeknd's hit collaboration with Daft Punk, "Starboy," on the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.

The pop-punk outfit deftly captured the song's understated groove, but also gave it a dreamy lounge feel with Brendon Urie's piano rumbling beneath quick hi-hats and an array of smoldering guitar lines. Urie also delivered an impressive vocal performance, matching the Weeknd's signature falsetto while also scattering a few of his own unique runs throughout the song.

Panic! At the Disco recently wrapped a European tour in support of their latest album, Death of a Bachelor, which arrived in January. The group will resume touring next year with a handful of dates in Australia and New Zealand, followed by an extensive U.S. trip that begins February 24th in Uncasville, Connecticut and wraps April 15th in Sunrise, Florida.

The Weeknd will release his new album, Starboy, November 25th. The R&B star also announced a visual piece, Mania, to accompany the record, but did not specify a premiere date.
