Seven years after starring in her first episode of One Tree Hill, Jana Kramer is flexing her acting chops again with the music video for "Said No One Ever." Directed by Edgar Esteves, the clip finds Kramer jumping between a number of roles, dressing up as a disco ball queen one minute and preening in front of a dressing-room mirror the next.
"Said No One Ever" was co-written by Natalie Hemby, the chart-topping writer behind Miranda Lambert's "Automatic" and Little Big Town's "Pontoon," along with busbee and Nicolle Galyon. It's a bright, bubblegummy blast of pop, with Kramer replacing the twang of previous releases with a brassy vocal delivery. Arriving nearly a year after her Top 10 power ballad "I Got the Boy," it's also an indicator of where Kramer's career is headed, with a sound that's bigger and broader than her earlier releases.
Kramer's cross-country spring tour kicks off April 7th in Columbus, Ohio.
