Flavor Flav: Public Enemy hype man, reality TV star, fledgling weatherman. The rapper appeared on Salt Lake City, Utah's Fox 13 Saturday to serve as surprise meteorologist, informing Utah citizens about the beautiful weather they could look forward to this weekend. "The weather's gonna be kind of good today, you know what I'm saying," Flav told viewers.
"I'm here to bring you the weather. Not only for the good, but for the better," Flav said. "Now check this out, you this over here? Salt Lake City, you got 56 degrees, you know what I'm saying?" Flav's meteorologist debut wasn't perfect – he misread Elko, Nevada as "Echo" on numerous occasions – and as he admitted at the end of the segment, "I'm not really a weather person, I'm a rapper."
Flav – who was in Salt Lake City to visit his brother, an athletic director at an area high school – also joined the Fox 13 team for a segment where he tried to help find a home for a dog named Patch. "You know what? He would do real good in that commercial, 'It's bacon!,' Flav said.
